Sheryl was born in Edmond in 1967, in what is now OU Medical Center. Raised and educated in Edmond, Sheryl attended Ida Freeman and Clegern Elementary, Sequoyah Middle School, and Edmond Memorial. Sheryl attended Central State University, now UCO. Edmond is where Sheryl met and married her husband, Joe, and is where they have chosen to raise their four children.


Sheryl started her business in Edmond in 1997, which she still operates successfully today. She has been a member of the Edmond Chamber of Commerce for many years, and enjoyed completing the Leadership Edmond program in 2019. Through this program Sheryl was able to strengthen her understanding of our city's operations and develop new ideas for leading Edmond in the right direction.

Sheryl is passionate about keeping Edmond a great town for businesses, families and individuals. She has a deep love for Edmond and and for the residents who call Edmond home. As your city council representative, Sheryl will:

  • Be a voice for all Edmond residents

  • Be an advocate for small and local businesses

  • Maintain conservative values and high moral standards

  • Encourage sustainable business and population growth

  • Advocate for Police, Fire & First Responders

  • Stand for the rights of individuals, families & churches

  • Push for low tax rates and encourage efficient spending

  • Promote the development and maintenance of parks and public recreation areas
